On Friday, Dunkin’ Donuts shops throughout Maine and at several locations in New Hampshire will join the gas savings program, called Override, originally started by Irving Oil and Shaw’s Supermarkets.

Customers now will be able to use purchases from both Dunkin’ Donuts and Shaw’s Supermarkets to create savings at the pump at more than 160 participating Irving locations throughout New England. They register and use their Dunkin’ Donuts card at participating Dunkin’ Donuts stores, and their Shaw’s Rewards card at participating Shaw’s stores, and then redeem their savings at participating Irving locations.

Customers can earn gas savings at 149 participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants until Sept. 30; they can redeem their savings at participating Irving locations until Oct. 14.

Customers can earn their Shaw’s savings until Sept. 4, and can redeem their savings at participating Irving locations until Sept. 18.
