Dave Swanson shot a hole-in-one Friday at Bangor Municipal Golf Course. Swanson made the shot using a 5-iron on the 170-yard third hole. It was witnessed by Barb Longfellow, Ernie Mayo and Bob Richards.

RALPH FIELDS

Ralph Fields of Frankfort recorded a hole-in-one Friday on the 145-yard, par-3 eighth hole at Streamside Golf Course in Winterport, using a 7-iron. Tammy Adams, Bruce Fields and Ron Cook witnessed the shot.

Steve Martin of Pittsfield notched an ace on the 199-yard par 3 17th hole at J.W. Parks Golf Course in Pittsfield Friday with a hybrid iron. The shot was witnessed by Brad Martin, Jimmy Martin and Dennis Madeiros.
