BREWER – Eli Beauchamp earned the pitching win and helped his own cause with a two-run single in the second inning as Bangor East defeated Hampden 10-5 for the title in the District 3 Little League All-Star baseball tourney for ages 10-11 Sunday.

Bangor East forced the if-necessary game in the double-elimination tourney by beating Hampden 9-2 on Saturday.

In Sunday’s game, Andrew Hillier and Jake Morrill each had an RBI single and a run scored in the third inning for Bangor East. Laim Harrigan posted a two-run triple and a single while Tucker Rice added a two-run single.

Noah Parker led Hampden with two singles, a triple and three RBIs while Ryan Manning added a double and a single.

In Saturday’s game, Hillier hit a three-run double in the fourth inning to break open a close game and lead Bangor East by Hampden.

Hillier finished with two doubles, three RBIs and a run scored. Morrill tripled and singled with an RBI while Sam Huston posted an RBI single for Bangor East.

Tristan Gardner hit three singles with an RBI for Hampden. Kyle Clifford had an RBI double while Jake Maltz hit a double for Hampden.

At Bangor, Ryan Dee hit a two-run home run to highlight a seven-run second inning as Houlton rolled past Katahdin in four innings.

Garrett Putnam hit a triple and a single with an RBI and Nick Cowperthwaite had two singles and an RBI for Houlton.

Dylan Porter had two doubles and an RBI while Cameron Landry hit two singles for Katahdin.

At 13th Street Field in Bangor, D.J. Monteith hit a double to drive in the game-winning run and lift Old Town past Hampden.

Drew Coulombe and Darin Gardner each hit a double and two singles. Nick Boutin singled three times for Old Town.

David Manzo hit two doubles to pace Hampden-Newburgh. Bill Campbell and Dylan Cray tripled.

Lincoln 19, Hermon 9

At 13th Street Field, Bangor, Lincoln scored 13 runs in the top of the sixth inning to defeat Hermon Saturday.

Trevor Delaite hit two doubles and a single to lead Lincoln. Trevor Sutherland singled three times and Scott Jipson hit two singles.

Hermon was led by Eric Hoogterp who tripled. Nick Guerrette hit a double.

Bangor East 6, Bangor West 4

At 13th Street Field, Bangor, Liam Reading doubled and singled to lead Bangor East to victory over Bangor West Saturday.

Nick Moore picked up the win on the mound for Bangor East.

Jake Wilson hit a double to pace Bangor West.

Houlton 8, Holbrook 3

At Bangor, Ben Tuttle and Nick Cowperthwaite combined on a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts to spark Houlton by Holbrook.

Ryan Dee hit a two-run home run as part of a five-run third inning for Houlton. Garrett Ring tripled and singled while Parker Brewer had an RBI single.

Alex Maxsimic and Jason Rhoads-Doyle each hit a single for Holbrook.

At Bangor, Ryan Moore hit three singles as Bangor East cruised past Lincoln to remain undefeated and advance to the championship game.

Laim Reading hit a triple while Nick Moore added a double for Bangor East.

Trevor Delaite hit two singles for Lincoln.

Old Town 27, Glenburn 1

At Bangor, Kaleb Gifford and Nick Boutin combined on a one-hitter to lead Old Town by Glenburn.

Drew Coulombe hit a home run, a double and a single while Andre Miller had a triple, double and two singles for Old Town. Darin Gardner and Cole Daniel each had a double and a single. Ben Quimby, Nick Boutin, T.J. Monteith added two singles apiece.

Jason Hyde hit a single for Glenburn.

Asher Bowden paced Bucksport with a triple, double and four RBIs and Tyler Pye added a triple, single and two RBIs. Jack Cyr contributed an RBI single.

At Blue Hill, Tate Yoder and Garrison Looke combined on a no-hitter with eight strikeouts to propel Coastal by Machias in four innings.

Coastal erupted with 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, invoking the 10-run rule.

William Ricker posted two singles, a double and four RBIs while Joe Pal had two doubles. Paul Zolphel and Looke each doubled and singled while Yoder hit two singles. Jacob McKay added a three-run double for Coastal.

John Edwards hit a double with two RBIs while Tyler Morrison had a two-run single for Calais.

Daniel Gastia singled and scored a run for Old town and Andre Richardson recorded seven strikeouts.

Max Andrews pitched four-hitless innings of relief while striking out 11 and walking two for eliminated Holbrook. Mitchell Hodgins doubled and singled.

Reid McGinley and Troy Bennett singled for Hermon.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor Sunday, Pat McEwen scattered six hits, gave up one run, struck out nine and didn’t walk a batter to lead Brewer to victory.

Colby Small’s two-run single highlighted Brewer’s three-run first inning. Small finished with two singles.

Dakota Sleeper doubled and singled for Katahdin Valley.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Kyle Senter smacked and RBI double in a three-run third inning to help give Holbrook the victory.

Ray Bessette earned the win for Holbrook as he pitched 5 2/3 innings of six-hit baseball while giving up two runs and two walks and striking out seven. Tyler Bessette came on to record the save with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Ryan Blake tripled for Hampden and Jonathan Johnson had two singles and an RBI.

Ryan Carr tripled and singled for Orono-Veazie and Miles Gagnon added a two-run double
