Reno cruises to Late Model Sportsman victory

WISCASSET – West Bath’s Steve Reno led all 30 laps en route to winning the Late Model Sportsman feature Saturday at Wiscasset Raceway.

Bill Pinkham of Wiscasset finished second followed by T.J. Watson of Harpswell, Woolwich’s Adam Chadbourne and Will Collins of Appleton.

Winterport Dragway

Reggie Lacadie of Bangor claimed victory in the Richard “Tater” Gray Memorial Diesel Day feature at Winterport Dragway on Sunday. Mark Prescott of Garland took second place. Travis French of South China and Nick Dupile of Turner were the semifinalists.

Oxford Plains Speedway

Ricky Rolfe of Albany Township won the 40-lap Late Model feature Saturday night, his fifth win in the last six races. The victory gave Rolfe the points lead and guarantees him a spot in Sunday’s TD Banknorth 250. Turner’s Shawn Martin finished second, Leeds’ Billy Childs Jr. was third, fourth was Kurt Hewins of Leeds and Carey Martin of Denmark finished fifth.
