Putting candidate Barack Obama’s abhorrent tax policies aside, the biggest issue he had working for him, and somehow still maintains this, is that he is the candidate that can bring change to America. I find this interesting considering the fact that the biggest issue in America is the tight squeeze on the economy due to rising fuel costs that can be manipulated at will by Middle Eastern leaders. Democrats, including Obama, however, are somehow against drilling oil that would decrease, if not eliminate, our foreign oil dependence, which would in turn raise supply and lower costs.
The so-called “candidate of change” will not even change our drilling policies to loosen the collar on the working people of America. Maybe the candidate who is willing to do this should be considered to be the one who will change America for the better.
