OLD TOWN – Brian Chappelle, son of Mary and Steve Chappelle of Old Town, has received two distinguished Scouting awards. Chappelle achieved the rank of Eagle Scout on June 30. He also is a recent recipient of the Catholic Scouting Award.

OLD TOWN – Brian Chappelle, son of Mary and Steve Chappelle of Old Town, has received two distinguished Scouting awards.

Chappelle achieved the rank of Eagle Scout on June 30.

He also is a recent recipient of the Catholic Scouting Award.

Chappelle is a member of Boy Scout Troop 76 in Old Town and an altar server at Holy Family Parish Church, where he recently completed a flower garden as his service project.

He recently graduated from Old Town High School and will spend the summer as a counselor in the Nature Lodge, Katahdin Area Council, at Camp Roosevelt in Eddington.

Chappelle will attend Eastern Maine Community College in the fall.
