BANGOR – Starbucks has named all 600 company-owned stores it plans to close – and two of them are in Maine.
The two Maine stores slated for closure are both in Bangor, one at the Bangor Mall and the other on Broadway.
The Seattle-based gourmet coffee retailer announced this month it was closing stores in a bid to boost business and weed out unprofitable locations. It listed 50 stores that would be closed by the end of July.
The company on Thursday released a list of all store closings, starting this month and continuing through the first half of the next fiscal year.
