MILBRIDGE – Washington Hancock Community Agency will hold its fourth annual auction to benefit the SeniorSAFE Program beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the town hall. This year’s auction will feature “old”tiques and “new”tiques. The preview is from noon to 1 p.m.
Some of the items in the auction include office furniture, a lawn mower, lamps, pottery, jewelry, paintings, portable grill, passes to the Blue Hill Fair, cordless drill, gift certificates, Deer Isle granite tabletop, granite cutting board and a granite etching, among others.
The auction benefits the SeniorSAFE Program, which is designed to address safety issues in the homes of elderly residents, and coincides with Milbridge Days which includes a blueberry pancake breakfast, parade, Cod Fish Relay Race, boat rides, Renaissance Festival and other events.
