HERMON – Randy Renaud hit a two-run triple to highlight a six-run fifth inning as Aerus Electrolux avoided the sweep with a 7-4 victory in the second game of a Bay League baseball doubleheader on Sunday. Montville defeated Aerus in the first game 5-1.

HERMON – Randy Renaud hit a two-run triple to highlight a six-run fifth inning as Aerus Electrolux avoided the sweep with a 7-4 victory in the second game of a Bay League baseball doubleheader on Sunday.

Montville defeated Aerus in the first game 5-1.

In the first game, Ben Cowan tallied two singles, a double and two RBIs while Roland Littlefield had a two-run double for Montville. Mike Cummons doubled and singled and Brian Morrison added two singles.

James Dobson doubled for Aerus.

In the second game, Anthony DeRosa and Dobson each hit two singles and Nate Ellis posted an RBI double for Aerus.

Joel Thomas had an RBI double for Montville. Littlefield had a pair of singles and Cam Masters added an RBI single.
