Union Street salvages split

HERMON – Chris Pease pitched a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts and two walks Wednesday as Union Street Cleaners topped Movingme 9-0 in the second game of a Bay League doubleheader.

Movingme defeated Union Street 8-3 in the first game.

In the first game, Dana Leland hit a three-run triple in the six-run fifth inning for Movingme. Ryan Logan added an RBI single.

Pease posted two singles with two RBIs while Derek Watson had two singles and an RBI for Union Street.

In the second game, George Keefe tallied two singles with three RBIs while Nick Arthers had an RBI triple and a single for Union Street.

Logan hit a pair of singles for Movingme.
