WEST PARIS – Maine State Police are offering few details about the deaths of two men in the town of West Paris. But Maine Public Safety Department spokesman Stephen McCausland said the deaths had been categorized as “highly suspicious.”

An investigation was launched Saturday evening after a motorist saw a body next to a stone wall outside a home. Detectives now say the body was that of 50-year-old Timothy Mayberry, who lived alone in the bungalow-style house.

McCausland says detectives are working on the identity of a second man found inside the home. No cause of death has been released.
