BANGOR – Vampires will be at Borders Books, Music and Cafe on Friday night in anticipation of the midnight release of “Breaking Dawn,” the fourth and final volume of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire-inspired “Twilight” series.

The release party, themed “From Twilight til Dawn: A Night With Bite,” starts at 9:30 p.m. and is scheduled to end at midnight when the book goes on sale.

Customers are encouraged to attend the free party dressed as a character from the book series or in formal vampire attire to participate in the Supernatural Soiree costume contest and the Vampire Ball. The night’s activities will include trivia contests and a chance to decide whom Bella’s true love will be – Jacob or Edward.

Prizes for the various contests will include souvenirs and a chance to be first in line at midnight to purchase the book.
