WEST LUBEC – A public baked bean supper is planned from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at the United Methodist Church off Route 189.

The menu will include beans, salads, casseroles, rolls, pickles, cream cakes and more. The cost will be $7 for adults, $3 for children 12 and younger.
