SKOWHEGAN – The Eastern Maine Eagles scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to defeat the Fairfield All-Stars to advance to the semifinals in the Skowhegan Cal Ripken League Invitational Tournament for age 12 Saturday.

Brendan Moore hit a double, single and a two-run home run to lead the Eagles. Trevor DeLaite doubled.

Alex Chesley paced Fairfield with a three-run home run in the first inning. Matt Champney added an RBI double.
