Branch ribbon-cutting

BANGOR – Merrill Bank’s newest branch, located at 727 Broadway, officially opened for business on Monday, Aug. 4.

Bank officials said the new branch provides easy access for Merrill’s customers, friends and neighbors from the traffic light at Husson Avenue and from Hillside Avenue on the back side of the branch.

Chris Pushor, assistant vice president and commercial lender, is the branch manager at Broadway. Jean Hafford is the assistant branch manager.

Sandy Leavitt, assistant vice president, will provide mortgage and home equity expertise. The customer service staff are Elysia Odom, Colleen Connors, Heather Ludden and Janise Day.

Merrill’s new branch also offers a 24-hour ATM, night depository, safe deposit boxes and easy access parking. The branch will be staffed to offer:

. Lobby hours, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.

. Drive-up hours, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-noon Saturday.
