ROCKPORT – The eighth annual Aldermere Farm art show and sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at 20 Russell Ave. in Rockport.

Proceeds will benefit the farm and the artists who have captured aspects of the farm in their artwork.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Chatfield Jr. established in 1953 what is now the oldest continuously operated herd of Belted Galloways in the United States.

The Aldermere Farm art show and sale raises money to support the farm’s youth programs, continued preservation of farm as a landmark, cattle operations and the artists themselves. Artists who participate donate 30 percent to 100 percent of their sales to benefit Aldermere Farm.
