BROOKS – Brooks Historical Society will hold an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, at the Pilley house, 11 Moosehead Trail Highway in Brooks Village.

Music will be provided by Don Nickerson of Jackson. There also will be an oil painting of Brooks by former Brooks resident Marilyn Reay, and Morse Memorial School photos, courtesy of the family of the late “Paddy” Brown. Video interviews. Refreshments. Freewill donations gratefully accepted.
