BELFAST – The Friends of Belfast Parks will hold a grand opening at the new Belfast Dog Park on Lincolnville Avenue from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 16.

The dog park is the first of its kind in midcoast Maine and already has attracted dogs and their owners from Bangor, Camden, Prospect and other towns. For information go to visit friendsofbelfastparks.org.
