BANGOR – Husson Internal Medicine, a division of Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, has become the only primary care office in Maine to have its physicians receive full accreditation through the National Committee on Quality Assurance, a national nonprofit organization that measures primary health care quality.

Husson Internal Medicine achieved accreditation in three areas: diabetes management, cardiovascular care, and the use of technology such as electronic medical records to improve patient care.
