ROCKLAND – Jeff Kimmon of the Project Puffin Visitor Center will talk about life on the islands from a supervisor’s point of view at 5 p.m. Wednesday, at the center on 311 Main St.

Kimmon is a seabird ecologist who has spent the last three summers working on seabird islands. He was the island supervisor for Eastern Egg Rock during the summer of 2007.

The visitor center is a joint endeavor between Maine Audubon and National Audubon Society. Admission is free and open to the public.
