WINTERPORT – Greg Young of Raymond captured wins in both the Super Pro/Pro Final and the Super Pro Eliminator features Sunday at Winterport Dragway.

Young beat out Robin Reynolds of Winterport, who placed second in the Super Pro/Pro Final. In the Super Pro Eliminator, Phil French of Orland came in second and Jerry Hatch of Lubec was a semifinalist.

Oxford Plains Speedway

At Oxford, the fan appreciation night has been postponed due to heavy rain. It has been moved to Saturday. All three championship series divisions and four acceleration classes will also race on Saturday.

Speedway 95

At Hermon, the track managed to get in only three heat races before rain forced the postponement of racing at Speedway 95. The races will be made up as part of a double feature on Aug. 30.
