BELFAST – Marael Sorenson will be the guest speaker at the Belfast Historical Society program meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at the Belfast Library.

The topic for the presentation will be “Who Was Phineas P. Quimby? – Belfast’s Metaphysical Healer and Father of New Thought.” The talk will focus on metaphysical healing and making the connection to what Quimby called “the Christ Consciousness.”
