Anson man injured in Skowhegan crash

SKOWHEGAN – An Anson man suffered serious injuries Tuesday after losing control of his motorcycle on Route 201.

Paul Daigle, who police said was in his mid-40s, was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor by LifeFlight helicopter for treatment of head injuries, according to Sgt. Noel Cummings of the Skowhegan Police Department.

Cummings said the accident happened just after 5 p.m. and did not involve any other vehicles. Daigle was traveling alone at the time of the crash.

The accident remains under investigation by Skowhegan police as well as a state police accident reconstructionist.
