About 200 classic automobiles of all years, makes and models will be up for bid in the antique auto auction.

According to museum director Charles Chiarchiaro, this year’s auction features cars in all price ranges to fit all budgets.

Among the vehicles likely to draw the most attention are the 1935 Auburn 851 Boat-tail Speedster; 1913 Crow Elkhart C2 Roadster; 1911 Brush C Runabout; and a 1972 Chevrolet Suburban Ambulance.

Mainstream classics, such as Ford Mustangs and Thunderbirds, Chevrolet Malibus and Monte Carlos and Triumph and MGB convertibles also are represented.

Bidder registration is $75 and includes auction catalog, seating for two in the bidder’s section and admission to the museum for the week before (including the preview) and after the auction. Only registered bidders will be allowed to bid during the auction.

Bidders may preregister at any time, right up through the auction. Bidders are seated in a reserved section in the museum’s outdoor pavilion. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Spectators will have a full view of the auction proceedings from adjacent tents.

Spectator admission and admission to the auction preview on Friday is $15 for adults, $6 for children under 17, free for children under 5 and museum members. A special family rate for the event is $40. Individuals and families who become museum members at the auction will receive free admission to the museum through December 2009.
