OXFORD – Maine drug agents have seized more than 50 marijuana plants in a raid at a local home.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says agents executed a search warrant Wednesday at the home of 31-year-old Joseph Bennett after residents complained of possible marijuana dealing at the residence.
Officials say they found 59 marijuana plants ranging in height from six inches to four feet. The street value was estimated at $50,000.
Bennett was charged with aggravated cultivation of marijuana.
