WASHBURN – Jennifer Ouellette scored two goals, including the game-winner with 7:57 remaining in the game, to lift Van Buren to a 2-1 schoolgirl soccer victory over Washburn on Tuesday.

Kristy Leonard grabbed the assist on the winning goal for Van Buren. Ashley Wilson made five saves on nine shots for the 2-1 Crusaders.

Lindsey Blackstone scored for Washburn off an assist from Morgan Berube. Rachel Palmer stopped six of nine shots for the 3-2 Beavers.

Madawaska 9, Wisdom 0

At Madawaska, Erin Dugal and Mary Cyr scored two goals apiece to power Madawaska by Wisdom.

Olivia Pelletier, Ashley Cyr, Audrey Bergeron and Danielle Gendreau each added a goal. Kallie Pelletier posted two assists while Megan Ouellette had one for Madawaska. Stephanie Nadeau and Amanda Nadeau stopped both shots they faced for the 4-1 Owls.

Suzie Collins made 14 saves on 26 shots for 0-5 Wisdom.
