BANGOR – The second Walk for Hunger to support the Hammond Street Ecumenical Food Cupboard will be held Saturday, September 20. The 4-mile walk will begin at Grace United Methodist Church at 193 Union St., Bangor, and proceed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 754 Ohio St. and back to Grace Church to participate in the free community lunch.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the parlor at Grace Church and the walk begins at 9:30 a.m. There are nine local churches that support the food cupboard.

All proceeds from the walk will go directly to the Food Cupboard. For more information or if you would like to participate, call Grace UMC at 942-8320.
