NORTH CHATHAM, N.H. – A 79-year-old Cambridge, Mass., woman is safe after being found in Maine’s woods about a mile from the New Hampshire campground where she had been staying.

Fish and Game Sgt. Jim Juneau said Susan Wexler was found just after midnight Monday on a trail in Stow, Maine. She became lost after leaving Sunday for a short walk.

Juneau said Wexler required no medical attention. He said when she realized she was lost, she stayed in one location and exercised to keep warm.
