Tuesday Forum vice president and membership chair Melissa Huston extends an invitation to area working women to “Meet Us for Lunch,” at noon Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Muddy Rudder Restaurant in Brewer.

“Tuesday Forum is a women’s networking organization designed to provide professional and personal growth opportunities for working women,” Huston wrote.

The group meets for a luncheon program, at noon every Tuesday, at the Muddy Rudder.

At the meeting, she explained, “the group will be hosting an Open Forum and encouraging area women who are interested in learning more about Tuesday Forum to attend as a guest.”

Those nominees must have performed their heroic acts between August 2007 and Sept. 11, 2008, and live, work or study in Penobscot, Piscataquis, Hancock, Waldo, Washington, Knox or Lincoln counties.
