EASTPORT – The Boat School-Husson, America’s oldest boat-building school, will hold an open house at the Eastport campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, for prospective students from Maine and New Brunswick.

The event will provide prospective students from high schools in Maine and New Brunswick with the opportunity to learn about the school’s one- and two-year programs. The Boat School-Husson offers one- and two-year certificate and diploma programs in wood construction, marine systems, composite and fiberglass construction, marine painting and marine mechanical systems.
