BATH – The Friends of Merrymeeting Bay will hold its third and final paddle and last outing of the season from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, in Butler Cove.

Led by Anne Hammond, the paddle will depart Butler Cove in North Bath offering gorgeous vistas of Merrymeeting Bay. Remember to pack a picnic lunch and drinking water.

The 12th season of FOMB’s winter speaker series will begin Oct. 2 with a presentation on the newly proposed expansion of the Atlantic salmon Endangered Species listing. This year’s series runs through May on the first Thursday of each month and is presented with support from the Patagonia Outlet in Freeport.
