Assisted Living Week

BANGOR – Rosscare recognized and thanked the residents and staff of its assisted living facilities as it celebrated National Assisted Living Week, Sept. 7-Sept. 13.

“Our assisted living facilities are filled with treasured memories, shared traditions and the rich heritages of our residents,” said Rosscare officials.

“Our residents are the parents, teachers, business people and other central figures who produced the good things we enjoy today, and it is through the seeds planted by these folks our communities were able to grow strong.”

Rosscare provides assisted living through the Sylvia Ross Home in Bangor, Dirigo Pines in Orono and, in partnership with First Atlantic, Colonial Health Care in Lincoln and Ross Manor in Bangor.

To celebrate Assisted Living Week, the Sylvia Ross Home held an ice cream social and a trivia challenge Sept. 8.
