BELFAST – Danielle Littlefield netted two goals in the second half to help propel the Belfast Lions to a 4-1 schoolgirl field hockey win over the Camden Hills Windjammers Thursday.
Crystle Kirby and Ori Downs each scored a goal while Allison Murane and Lauren Rice each grabbed an assist for Belfast. Paxton Mohney and Emma Hamm combined to make four saves on five shots for the 1-1 Lions.
Rachelle Grenert posted a goal for Camden Hills while Sarah Nason made 10 saves on 14 shots for the 0-2 Windjammers.

Foxcroft Acad. 5, Central 0
At Dover-Foxcroft, Sabrina Sharrow scored three goals and grabbed two assists to power Foxcroft Academy by Central of Corinth.
Molly Cyr and Hilary Kendall each added a goal for Foxcroft. Cassie Curtis stopped both shots she faced for the 2-0 Ponies.
Brittany Cole and Bekah Campbell combined to make 12 saves on 17 shots for the 0-2 Red Devils.

Nokomis 3, Mount View 1
At Newport, Sabrina Vaillancourt tallied a pair of goals to lead Nokomis by Mount View of Thorndike.
Erin Knight scored a goal and grabbed two assists for Nokomis. Maria Adams stopped 22 of 23 shots for the 2-0 Warriors.
Brianna Moody netted a goal for Mount View while Juni Garvin made 13 saves on 16 shots for the 2-1 Mustangs.

Dexter 4, John Bapst 2
At Dexter, Jess Mason scored a pair of goals and assisted on another as Dexter improved to 3-0.
Megan Mower and Katie Eastman scored the other Dexter goals with Claire Wyman notching two assists. Olivia Gardner and Crissy Mountain had an assist apiece and Sam Conway made eight saves on 11 shots.
Kelsey McGrath and Marianne Ferguson scored for John Bapst. Marissa Rublee had an assist and Megan Smith made 14 saves on 23 shots.

Girls soccer
Dexter 3, Piscataquis 0
At Guilford, Sara Domenech scored a goal in each half to lift Dexter to its first victory of the season.
Raven Patterson also scored in the first half as Dexter held a 2-0 lead at intermission.
Maicee Gustin preserved the shutout with seven saves on 10 shots for 1-0-1 Dexter.
Julia Shaffer made seven saves on 11 shots for 1-1-1 Piscataquis.
Bangor Christian 2, Lee Acad. 1
At Bangor, Demelza Ramirez scored her second goal of the game with 10:33 left in the second half to lift Bangor Christian to victory.
After a scoreless first half, Heidi Sappier scored an unassisted goal to give Lee a 1-0 lead.
Ramirez tied the game four minutes later on an assist from Kelly Robinson, then scored on the game-winner on an assist from Whitney Holmes.
Moriah Bach made one save on three shots for 2-0 Bangor Christian.
Feliecha Thornton made seven saves on 19 shots for Lee.
Old Town 2, Orono 1
At Orono, Katie Deshane tallied the game-winning goal with 16 minutes left in the game to lift Old Town past Orono.
Erin St. Peter scored the first goal for Old Town. Annie Cashon made nine saves on 17 shots for the 2-0 Coyotes.
Ruth Mares scored for Orono off an assist from Caleigh Paul. Elizabeth Fox stopped five of eight shots for the 1-0-1 Red Riots.
Penobscot Valley 7, Sumner 1
At East Sullivan, Meghan King and Molly Thompson scored two goals apiece to spark Penobscot Valley of Howland by Sumner.
Monique Theriault, Katie Whitten and Jordan Leveille each added a goal for Penobscot Valley. Casey McCloskey stopped five of six shots for the 1-0-1 Howlers.
Lona Sargent scored for Sumner while Kelsey Tucker, Ashley Pennartz and Katelyn Hodgkins combined to make 20 saves on 35 shots for the 1-2 Tigers.
Foxcroft Acad. 4, Central 1
At Dover-Foxcroft, Shee-Ann Sergent and Ali Adkins each scored two goals to lead Foxcroft Academy by Central.
Sarah Whittemore made seven saves on 14 shots for the 1-1 Ponies.
Brianna Speed and Kelsei McHugh each scored for Central. Shari Shina stopped 11 of 18 shots for the 0-2 Red Devils.

At Ellsworth, Casey Wyman registered two goals as Ellsworth topped George Stevens Academy of Blue Hills.
Ashley Cloak chipped in with a goal while Maggie Harding, Anna Seavey and Emily Lyons each had an assist. Angie Tucker stopped three of four shots for 2-0 Ellsworth.
Doran Curtian posted a goal for 3-1 George Stevens off a pass from Quinn Curtian. Hannah Van Der Eb made four saves on 10 shots.

Searsport 10, DI-Stonington 1
At Searsport, Sarah Bradshaw scored three goals and assisted on another to power the Vikings to victory.
Olivia Quigley registered two goals and an assist for 2-1 Searsport and Kali Berenyi scored two goals. Tianna Faunce and Abby Landmesser contributed a goal and an assist each, while Katherine Cotter tallied a goal and Shannon Higgins added an assist.
Megan Higgins, Kayla Garcelon, Coller and Higgins combined to make four saves on 10 shots.
Meaghan Robinson netted an unassisted goal for 0-1-1 Deer Isle-Stonington. Anika Powers came up with 10 saves on 35 shots.
Boys soccer
Calvary Chapel 3, Islesboro 2
At Bangor, Aaron Eastman scored what proved to be the game-winning goal at 20:53 in the first half on an assist from Luke Martin as Calvary Chapel Christian edged Islesboro.
Stephen Berenyi and Josh Monroe each added a goal for Calvary Chapel.
Jason Hatch and Max Mahan each netted a goal for Islesboro.
Waterville 9, Nokomis 0
At Newport, Alex Rowe netted three goals as Waterville cruised past Nokomis.
Nick Christiansen, Abu Mannocchi, Ian Rowe and Jake Sirois each had a goal and an assist while David Cook and Shawn Lee added a goal apiece. Nick Lee stopped the only shot he faced for the 2-0 Panthers.
Tyler Wintle made 22 saves on 33 shots for the 0-3 Warriors.

Highview Christian 11, Averill 2
At Charleston, Ryosuke Yamada scored give goals and assisted on another and Stefan Rowe had three goals and two assists as Highview Christian opened with a win over Averill of Hinckley.
Alexander Papkov had two goals and an assist and Cody Crooker contributed a goal and an assist for the winners. Rowe made five saves on 10 shots in the first half before becoming a field player in the second half and notching his hat trick. Wesley Jones had three saves in the second half.
Ben Pearson scored both goals for 1-2 Averill and Zach Morse made 20 saves on 44 shots.
Madawaska 2, Fort Fairfield 0
At Madawaska, Nathan A. Beaulieu and Mike Cannan each scored a goal in the first half to propel Madawaska by Fort Fairfield.
Shawn Parker posted an assist for Madawaska while Nathan P. Beaulieu stopped all four shots he faced for the 8-0-1 Owls.
Austin Dufour made 10 saves on 22 shots for the 5-2 Tigers.
