Fashion show planned at Brewer event center

BREWER – The St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary will hold its 33rd annual Fashion Show and Auction on Friday, Oct. 17, at Jeff’s Catering in Brewer.

The annual Autumn Affair luncheon and fashion show will begin at 12 p.m. Attendees will enjoy an afternoon filled with samples of the latest fall clothing and accessory fashions provided by a number of area businesses.

The evening dinner and auction will begin with a social hour at 6 followed by dinner and entertainment at 7 p.m.

The fashion parade will depict each month of the year before the Rev. Robert Carlson steps in as the evening’s auctioneer. Auction items will include box tickets to a University of Maine hockey game donated by Webber Energy; a signed, numbered and framed Tom Hennessey print donated by the artist; one week of lodging at Sugarloaf USA donated by Ned and Jane Jennings; a garden statue from Granville Stone; and two 5-by-8-feet design rugs donated by Saliba’s Rug Sales.

Reserved seating for the afternoon fashion show and luncheon may be purchased in advance for $25. General admission seating will be available at the door for $35. Tickets for the evening dinner and auction event may be purchased in advance for $35 (reserved seating only; there will be no sales at the door). Tickets for both the afternoon and evening events may be purchased at Patrick’s Hallmark, located in the Broadway Shopping Center, at Helen’s, the St. Joseph Hospital Gift Shop, or by calling Marie Demaso at 945-5700.
