LEE – Brittney Rideout’s goal off a pass from Becca Dow with 9:17 remaining lifted the Lee Academy Pandas to a 2-1 schoolgirl soccer win over the Penobscot Valley Howlers Saturday.
Katelyn Mallett scored the first goal on a penalty kick early in the second half. Felicia Thornton stopped 12 of 15 shots for the 2-2 Pandas.
Meaghan King scored in the first half for PVHS on a Molly Thompson assist. Casey McCloskey made nine saves on 21 shots for the 2-2-1 Howlers.
Caribou 6, Hermon 3
At Caribou, Jenna Selander netted three goals and grabbed an assist as Caribou topped Hermon.
Lydia Kieffer had a goal and an assist while Jamie Martin and Abby Small each scored a goal for 5-2 Caribou. Morgan Swan stopped five of nine shots for the Vikings.
Lindsey Allen posted two goals for Hermon while Shannon Hall scored one. Sara Bishop made eight saves on 21 shots for the 2-4 Hawks.

Bangor Chr. 1, Katahdin 1 (2OT)
At Bangor, goalies Moriah Bach of Bangor Christian and Katahdin’s Jade Clippinger didn’t allow a goal through two overtimes.
Demelza Ramirez scored the tying goal with 12:05 remaining in regulation for 3-1-1 Bangor Christian. Kelly Robinson provided an assist, while Bach made 10 saves on 13 shots.
Mary Robinson scored with 18:35 left in the first half for 2-4-1 Katahdin of Stacyville. Clippinger stopped eight of 15 shots.
Hampden 11, Brewer 5
At Brewer, Michaela Stephenson scored four goals and had three assists as Hampden rolled past Brewer.
Ashley Robinson posted three goals while Katie Chambers scored twice. Chelsea Kuzio and Emily Gower each added a goal. Sarah Lamberton had four assists for Hampden. Julia Snyder made six saves on 11 shots for the 2-3 Broncos.
Faith Thomas scored two goals for Brewer while Kaite McLaughlin, Aline Michaud and Melanie Judkins each added one goal. Missy Thompson stopped 13 of 27 shots for the 1-4 Witches.

Bangor 1, Nokomis 0
At Newport, Eliza Estabrook scored with 35:48 left in regulation off a M.J. Boyce assist to lead Bangor to victory over Nokomis.
Kourtney Hudgens made four saves on nine shots for the Rams.
Laura Lyford turned away 29 of 30 shots for Nokomis.
Searsport 8, Penquis 2
At Searsport, Tianna Faunce tallied three unassisted goals to lead Searsport past Penquis of Milo.
Kayla Garcelon, Olivia Quigley, Jen Allenwood, Kali Berenyi, Sara Bradshaw and Chanelle Gray each added a goal for 5-1-1 Searsport.
Paige Bradshaw, Shannon Higgins and Kayla Garcelon combined to make eight saves on 13 shots for the Vikings.
Rachel Emery and Kayla Webb each scored a goal for Penquis. Kayla Webb made 10 saves on 30 shots for the 2-4 Patriots.
Central 3, Dexter 2
At Dexter, Kelsi McHugh scored the winning goal with 12:05 left in the second half to lead Central of Corinth past Dexter.
McHugh had two goals for Central and Brianna Speed also scored. Scarlett Stevens made eight saves on 12 shots.
Alexis Mitchell scored both goals for Dexter. Miranda Gove provided an assist as Maicee Gustin blocked 14 of 19 shots.
Highview Chr. 1, GPCS 1 (2OT)
At Charleston, Anita Allard made 31 saves on 42 shots for Highview Christian Academy as the Knights battled to a tie with Greater Portland Christian School through two overtimes.
Sheila Francis scored for 1-1 Highview Christian in the first half on an assist from Michaela Giles.
Danielle Woodward scored for Greater Portland Christian in the second half. Rebecca Gagnon stopped four of five shots.

At Guilford, Taylor Dow scored three goals and Kelsey Boss added two as Foxcroft Academy cruised to victory.
Sabrina Sharrow had a goal and an assist for the 6-1 Ponies, while Mariah Arno also had an assist.
Cassie Curtis made one save on two shots for 6-1 Foxcroft.

At Rockland, Sabrina Vaillancourt had three goals as Nokomis of Newport shut out Rockland.
Erin Knight and Brittany Dunton added goals for 6-0-1 Nokomis. Alison Berg provided three assists. Mackenzie Smith and Mandi White each had an assist. Maria Adams blocked all five shots.
McKayla Follett blocked 12 of 17 shots for 1-5 Rockland.

At Belfast, senior fullback Blake Ford rushed for 185 yards on 16 carries and scored six touchdowns as the Calais-Woodland Silverados scored the first varsity victory in program history.
Ford scored five touchdowns after intermission on as Calais-Woodland broke open what had been a tight 12-6 contest.
Kevin Ross added 132 rushing yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, while Cal Shorey contributed 64 yards on 10 tries.
Calais-Woodland amassed 402 yards of total offense, 381 on the ground.
Eddie Flaherty and Spencer McCormick had pass interceptions for the Silverados.
Tyler Rednour scored on a 9-yard run for Mount View of Thorndike.

Billy Duffy posted a goal and two assists while Marshall Davis added a goal and an assist for Katahdin. Matt Tarr stopped 10 of 12 shots for the 7-0 Cougars.
Nate Kutz scored a goal for Bangor Christian. Tyler Alexander and Tim Whitaker combined to make 10 saves on 18 shots for the 4-1 Patriots.

At Milo, Jesse McLaughlin tallied three goals as Penquis shut out Searsport.
Joe Leland, Anthony Murano and Brian Glidden scored one goal apiece for 2-3 Penquis. Richie Russell made five saves on seven shots for the Patriots.

At Woolwich, Anthony Simpson scored what proved to be the game-winning goal 1:21 into the second half off a corner kick as Greater Portland Christian School edged Highview Christian Academy of Charleston.
Alex Whalen scored two goals in the first half while Jacob Rudolph made six saves on eight shots for 3-3 Greater Portland Christian.
Stefan Rowe and Alexander Papkov each had a goal and an assist for Highview Christian. Rowe and Wesley Jones combined to make 28 saves on 31 shots for the 3-1 Knights.
Bangor 12, Nokomis 0
At Bangor, nine different players scored as Bangor defeated Nokomis of Newport.
Luke Hetterman scored two goals and assisted another for the 5-0 Rams. Mack Susi and Nick George also scored twice. Phil Frost, Chad Kelley and Brandon Landry each had a goal and an assist. Brian Loiselle, Clark Noonan and Jack Stacey scored. Bud Angst made no saves on two shots.
Tyler Wintle blocked 11 of 37 shots for 0-6 Nokomis.

At Greenville, Tony DiAngelo scored on a penalty kick and assisted the other goals as Greenville edged Rangeley.

Quinn Philbrick scored with eight minutes left in the second half for 2-4 Rangeley. Zach Abbott blocked 16 of 18 shots.

At Caribou, Eric Brown made 15 saves on 16 shots to earn the shutout in goal for the Vikings.
Cameron Anderson, Chad Caverhill and Philip St. Peter each scored in the second half, with St. Peter converting a penalty kick. Brandon Caverhill and John Ouellette each had an assist for the 5-2-1 Vikings.
Cory Johnson made 10 saves on 13 shots for 0-5 Hermon.

At Calais, Fabrizio Soberanis and Jeff Johnston scored two goals apiece to spark Calais.
Joe Mitchell added a goal for 3-1 Calais. Jordan Leeman and Alex Barnett combined to make six saves on eight shots for the Blue Devils.
Lowell Matthews scored for Houlton while Ryan VanBuskirk and Jared Tapley combined for eight saves on 14 shots for the 2-6-2 Shiretowners.
