BETHEL, Vt. – Vermont Castings wood stove maker and metal fabricator New England Precision are expected to add up to 88 jobs in Bethel and Randolph in the next several years.

Key to that development is the decision by Monessen Hearth Systems Corp. to move operations from Kentucky to Vermont, officials said.

The companies are to receive a total of $700,000 in state incentives designed to promote job growth. Some of the money going to Vermont Castings is coming from a new program designed to promote the development of alternative energy industries in the state.
