BANGOR – Public officials and candidates for public office are invited to an educational program concerning adult day services 1:30-3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Westgate Manor, 750 Union St. The program will feature “Supporting Your Constituents with Alzheimer’s disease” by Kathryn G. Pears, MPPM, director of public policy for Maine’s Alzheimer’s Association; case examples from the community; a question-and-answer discussion including families and day program participants; and a tour of Westgate Manor’s Adult Day Program.
