BANGOR – The Penobscot Contradancers will hold its monthly contradance at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 120 Park St. Guest musicians will be Ed Howe and John Cote, and the caller will be Tavi Merrill. Dance starts at 8 p.m.

Guest musicians will be Ed Howe and John Cote, and the caller will be Tavi Merrill. Dance starts at 8 p.m. The beginners’ session begins at 7:30 p.m.
All dances are taught; no experience or partner needed. All ages and abilities are welcome for an evening of contradance, circle dances and waltzes. Admission is $6, $15 for a family. For information, call 525-4538 or e-mail bangorcontra@gmail.com.
