DENNYSVILLE – The Lincoln Library will present three October events as part of its new “Learn! at your Library” program.
Steve Crawford, environmental director for the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Pleasant Point, will give a presentation on energy options for homeowners at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10. Topics will include how to make your own diesel and ethanol from algae in your own greenhouse, homemade solar panels and using photovoltaics to help wean homeowners from the electrical distribution grid.
Ed Moore, professional renovator, will present a show-and-tell program titled “Weatherstripping: What to Use and How to Use It” at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11.
Jody and Lee Rose of the storytelling duo “Tales Told” will tell “Scary Stories for Hallowe’en,” an all-ages program, at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24.
The “Learn! at your Library” series provides an opportunity for local people to share their knowledge and skills with the community. Admission to all events is free. For information, call 726-4263.
