BELFAST – Waldo County TRIAD is partnering with several community organizations to help keep the county’s senior citizens warm this winter.

The Palermo Christian Church, Monroe Community Extension, Winterport Women’s Club, Jolly Neighbors Senior Citizens Group and the Waldo County YMCA are assisting the effort.

TRIAD is collecting coats, hats, shawls, heavy socks and sweaters throughout the county. The warm clothes will be cleaned and distributed to senior citizens.

Donation boxes will be placed at the following locations: Palermo Christian Church, Monroe Town Office, Varney Building in Brooks, Searsport Public Safety Building, Winterport Town Office, Belfast Adult Education Center, Waldo County YMCA, Spectrum Generations in Belfast and Prospect Town Office.
