PITTSFIELD – Nick Miller rushed 16 times for 153 yards and scored two touchdowns as the Maine Central Institute Huskies rolled to a 44-14 high school football victory over the Mount View Mustangs Monday night.
Tyler Maloon scored touchdowns on an 85-yard kick off return and a 30-yard run for the Huskies. Brandon Wilson completed three of eight passes for 28 yards, including a 5-yard TD pass to Nick Cook in the third quarter.
Mike Lynch added an eight-yard scoring run in the fourth. He totaled eight carries for 44 yards.
Tyson Hunt had an interception and a fumble recovery for MCI. Cook also had an interception. Marcus White led the defense with nine tackles.
Aaron Santana completed two touchdown passes to Tyler Rednour, one for 55 yards and another for 40 yards, to lead Mount View. Santana completed eight of 16 passes for 158 yards.
MCI totaled 300 yards rushing and 28 passing while Mount View had 21 yards rushing and 158 passing.
