Jared Turcotte

University of Maine freshman running back Jared Turcotte was named the CAA Football Rookie of the Week. Turcotte rushed 82 yards on 11 carries against James Madison on Saturday.

India Lowe

University of Southern Maine forward India Lowe of Cape Elizabeth was honored as the Little East Conference Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week. Lowe had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over Eastern Connecticut State University.

Allison Hill

University of Southern Maine junior Allison Hill was named the Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week by the Little East Conference. Hill averaged 13.5 saves per game and a .871 save percentage in two games.

Victor Gagne

Colby College’s Victor Gagne or Norridgewock was named the NESCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the second straight week. Gagne had a person-best 42-yard field goal and made all three extra point kicks in Colby’s 24-19 win over Middlebury.

Keith Williams

University of Maine at Fort Kent freshman Keith Williams was named the Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week by the Sunrise Conference. Williams had two goals and two assists in the Bengals 7-1 win over UM-Machias.

Peter McHugh

University of Southern Maine junior midfielder Peter McHugh was honored as the Little East Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. McHugh scored three goals and provided two assists in a 2-0 week.

Mike Hersey and Chris Hamel

Husson University’s Mike Hersey of Presque Isle and Chris Hamel of Waterville were named the NAC Men’s Golf Co-Players of the Week. Hersey and Hamel tied for medalist honors in the John Queenan Memorial with scores of 74.

Allison Chepke

Husson University sophomore outside hitter Allison Chepke was name the Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week by the North Atlantic Conference. Chepke had 27 kills, 25 digs and nine aces in a 2-1 week.

Shannon Mitchell

University of Maine at Farmington freshman Shannon Martin was honored as the North Atlantic Conference Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week. Mitchell collected 27 kills and 35 digs in a 1-2 week.

Emma Deans

Sophomore Emma Deans of the University of Maine at Farmington was named the NAC Field Hockey Player of the Week. Deans had a hat trick in an 8-0 win over Thomas and scored the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over Lasell.

Nate Tipton

Maine Maritime Academy freshman striker Nate Tipton was honored as the NAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week. Tipton scored all three of the Mariners goals in a 2-1 week.

James Tollefson

Freshman forward James Tollefson of the University of Maine at Farmington was named the North Atlantic Conference Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week. Tollefson scored four goals in a 1-2 week.
