CHARLESTON – Stefan Rowe tucked a low, 25-yard shot inside the far post 1:16 into the second overtime Tuesday as Highview Christian edged Chop Point of Woolwich 3-2.

Nathan Chandler and Cody Crocker had a goal each and Rowe had an assist for the 5-2 Knights. Rowe made six saves in the first half and Wesley Jones made four after halftime.

Kalvin O’Donnell had a goal and an assist for 1-5 Chop Point. Jean Dujoncquy had a goal.

Michael Princiotta made 25 saves on 38 shots.

Brewer 3, Waterville 1

At Waterville, Luke Thomas had a hat trick as Brewer avenged an earlier loss to Waterville.

Brad Billings, Ryan Nadeau and Tyler Bessette provided assists for the 3-4-1 Witches. Brian Kearns made seven saves on 10 shots.

Abu Mannocchi scored for 6-3 Waterville. Nick Lee stopped five of 11 shots.

JV: Waterville 4-2

Penobscot Valley 5, Sumner 1

At East Sullivan, Derrick Jones scored two goals to pace Penobscot Valley of Howland.

Leigh Dolley, Joe Brown and Ryan Ciopino also scored for the Howlers. Derrick Bellevance provided two assists. Jacob Jones turned away four of seven shots.

Joey Malloy scored off an Anthony Cultrera assist for Sumner. Josh Ring and Mike Crowley combined for 22 saves on 33 shots.

Calvary Chapel 0, Greenville 0

At University College in Bangor, Devon Warman of Calvary Chapel and Greenville’s Alex Jardine didn’t allow a goal through regulation and two overtimes.

Warman stopped 14 of 17 shots for 3-3-1 Calvary Chapel of Orrington.

Jardine turned away 11 of 12 shots for 4-1-2 Greenville.

Messalonskee 2, Hampden 2

At Oakland, Jeremiah Dumais scored with 4:54 remaining to enable Messalonskee to tie Hampden Academy.

Cameron Omsberg had the other goal for 6-1-2 Messalonskee and Andrew Wilson made eight saves on 14 shots.

Corey Grover and Kevin Angelinetta scored for the 5-3-1 Broncos. Austin Michaud had an assist and Harrison Haiden made six saves on nine shots.

JV: Hampden 2-1

Girls soccer

Katahdin 3, Lee Acad. 0

At Lee, Melissa Duffy scored two goals and added an assist as the Cougars of Stacyville earned the victory.

Brooke Livezey also scored for 4-5-1 Katahdin, while Mary Jo Robinson posted an assist. Jade Clippinger made seven saves on 13 shots.

Felicia Thornton made nine saves on 12 shots for 2-4 Lee.

Presque Isle 9, Central 0

At Corinth, Chelsea Nickerson and Kayla Legassie each recorded a hat trick as the Wildcats improved to 8-1.

Jenna Stephenson scored two goals while Brittany Bearden added one for Presque Isle. Kelsey Parks had six saves on six shots.

Shari Shina saved 10 of 22 shots for 1-8 Central.

Lawrence 4, Nokomis 0

At Newport, Courtney Langley scored all four goals and Jess Poulin made 14 saves as Lawrence of Fairfield improved to 5-3.

Laura Lyford made 15 saves for 0-8 Nokomis.

Waterville 2, Brewer 0

At Brewer, Jordan Pellerin scored both goals as Waterville shut out Brewer.

Paige Gardiner had an assist for 8-0 Waterville. Taylor Hart did not make a save on four shots.

Mel Judkins saved 25 of 27 shots for 1-7 Brewer.

John Bapst 5, MDI 0

At Bangor, Mandy Martin had a first-half hat trick as John Bapst shut out Mount Desert Island of Bar Harbor.

Kate Gerow added two second-half goals for the 5-3 Crusaders. Laura Jordan turned away all 12 shots.

Elizabeth Sargent made 16 saves on 24 shots for 2-6 MDI.

Penobscot Valley 5, Sumner 3

At Howland, five players scored to lift Penobscot Valley over Sumner of East Sullivan.

Jordan Faloon, Katie Whitten, Alyssa Whitten, Jordan Leveille and Meghan King scored for the 6-2-1 Howlers. Molly Thompson provided an assist. Casey McCloskey and Jocelyn Thomas combined to stop four of 10 shots.

Lona Sargent had two goals and an assist to lead 2-7 Sumner. Helen Conway also scored a goal. Kelsey Tucker turned away 19 of 38 shots.

Foxcroft 3, Dexter 1

At Dexter, Shee-Ann Sergeant scored two goals to push Foxcroft Academy past Dexter.

Paige Hobbs added a goal for the 4-4 Ponies. Ali Adkins provided an assist while Sarah Whittemore stopped 11 of 16 shots.

Alexis Mitchell scored a on a Sarah Murray assist for 3-4-1 Dexter. Maicee Gustin and Kaitlyn Caron combined for 21 saves on 27 shots.

Greenville 4, Calvary Chapel 0

At Greenville, McKenna Peat scored four goals as the Lakers remained undefeated.

Kaitlin Harmon, Tiffany Howard, Nikki Hamilton and Saige Weeks each had an assist for 3-0-4 Greenville, the top-ranked team in Western D.

Sidney Richardson and Miranda Drinkwater combined to make 12 saves on 15 shots.

Emilye Mills saved 23 of 43 shots for 0-6 Calvary Chapel of Orrington.

Piscataquis 4, Schenck 2

At East Millinocket, Stacy Priest scored twice as Piscataquis of Guilford defeated Schenck.

Lindsay Morrill and Olivia Schmiedlehner also scored for the 2-5-2 Pirates. Julia Shaffer turned away 10 of 13 shots.

Alexxa Pasanen scored both goals for 2-7 Schenck. Karlie Michaud and Kristine Jamo provided assists. Kira Burleigh saved 15 of 19 shots.

Orono 5, Penquis 0

At Orono, Alex Crocker scored three goals as Orono shut out Penquis of Milo.

Meghan Curtis had a goal and an assist for Orono and Rachel Balaban-Garber also scored a goal. Ruth Mares and Riley Mahan provided assists. Elizabeth Fox stopped four of seven shots.

Erica Lyford turned away 18 of 31 shots for Penquis.

Field hockey

Mount View 5, Oak Hill 1

At Thorndike, Brianna Moody scored two goals and assisted another as Mount View defeated Oak Hill of Sabattus.

Sunny Bantle had a goal and an assist for the 6-2 Mustangs. Cassandra St. Clair and Makayla Dyke also scored. Alonia Horton had an assist and Juni Garvin made one save on two shots.

Kayla Clark scored for 3-5 Oak Hill. Sarah LaCroix turned away nine of 14 shots.

Skowhegan 4, Bangor 0

At Bangor, Erin Sevey had a hat trick as Skowhegan shut out Bangor.

Nicole Sevey added a goal for the 9-0 Indians. Megan Hancock saved all three shots.

Hilary Babin and Melissa Mower combined to save nine of 16 shots for 4-4 Bangor.

JV: Bangor 2-1
