GORHAM – Scott Brown scored the only goal of the game in the 19th minute to lead Colby College of Waterville to a 1-0 men’s soccer victory over the University of Southern Maine Wednesday.

Doug Sibor made four saves on seven shots for the 3-3 Mules.

David Kreps stopped four of 11 shots for the 7-3-1 Huskies.

Saint Joseph’s 5, Emerson 0

At Standish, Saint Joseph’s College tallied four goals in the first half en route to victory over Emerson College.

Kevin Melega, Paul Robins, Doug MacCallum and Andre Cushing each scored a goal in the first half. Derek Osmond added a goal in the second half for Saint Joseph’s. Robins grabbed two assist while Cushing and Melega each had one. Will Pike made three saves on six shots for the 4-3-2 Monks.

Jonas Imbert stopped one of 10 shots for 3-6-1 Emerson.
