BANGOR – Carol Carew is the new director of Bangor Area Visiting Nurses, a part of Eastern Maine HomeCare.

“Carol brings a great deal of home care experience to her new position,” said Saundra Scott-Adams, executive vice president for Eastern Maine HomeCare. “We are very pleased to have Carol as a member of our team and serving the home care and hospice needs of the greater Bangor community.”

Carew’s experience includes executive director positions in both a federally qualified health center and home care settings in Maine and Massachusetts. She has more than 18 years of home health experience and was most recently the CEO of the Regional Medical Center of Lubec. She has extensive knowledge of tele-health, quality improvement and efficiencies in the delivery of healthcare services.
