Reason for running: I want to represent the people in District 20 to use my economics and law degrees and considerable military, prosecution, public, and private law experiences to advocate for realistic and affordable education, health care, anti-drug, economic, and environmental policies and to address state government excesses, hidden fees and taxes, and lack of local government support.

Experience: Rep. Pratt is seeking his second term in the Maine Legislature. His varied life experiences and his work as a firefighter have taught him the importance of community and the value of public service. Ben has been a strong voice in Augusta for local concerns and has worked to move Maine forward in today’s competitive global economy.

Reason for running: The issues facing today’s working families can be overwhelming. There is work to be done in Augusta and I’m here to help. I am committed to finding long-term sustainable solutions to our problems, making tough decisions and moving forward with new thinking and opportunities, while never forgetting or neglecting the things that make Maine such a great place to live.
