MACHIAS – Erin O’Connor scored four goals to lead the University of Maine-Machias to a 6-1 women’s soccer victory Saturday over Paul Smith’s (N.Y.) College.
Sara Rushforth and Sarah Minard each scored a goal for the 6-4 UMM Clippers. Stephanie Wunderley made three saves on eight shots.
Joelle Guisti scored the goal for Paul Smith’s and Karlie Zurmuhlen made seven saves on 30 shots.

At Waterville Sunday, Jamie Lockett had two goals and an assist to lead the Thomas College Terriers past Southern Maine Community College.
Stephanie Walsh and Terissa Ridge each scored one goal for the Thomas Terriers. Jess Nassetta made three saves for her second straight shutout.
Cheyanne Larsen made six saves for SMCC.
USM 0, Plymouth State 0
At Gorham, Alison Bradley of the University of Southern Maine and Plymouth State University’s Angelina LaBroad didn’t allow a goal through regulation and two overtimes Saturday.
Bradley turned away 10 of 16 shots for the 3-5-1 Huskies.
LaBroad saved one of four shots for 3-3-3 Plymouth State.
Emmanuel 3, Saint Joseph’s 2
At Standish, Amber Di Nucci scored in the first and second halves as Emmanuel College defeated Saint Joseph’s College Saturday.
Alexandra Blasser scored at 36:29 in the first half for 6-4 Emmanuel. Meghan Long provided two assists. Laureyn Furtney stopped four of 14 shots.
Katie Jordan scored at 89:15 with assists from Jessica Needham and Elizabeth Theberge to bring the 4-4 Monks within a goal. Mikayla Call scored off a Brianna Jordan assist at 66:32. Katye Mayo turned away four of 11 shots.
Maine 1, Binghamton 0
At Vestal, N.Y., Anjelica Hodgson headed the ball into the net off a Cristina Di lelsi free kick at 55:33 to give the University of Maine the win over Binghamton University Sunday.
Jasmine Phillips turned away four of nine shots to earn the shutout for 5-2-4 Maine.
Jen McEachron made five saves on eight shots for 5-5-1 Binghamton.
Saint Joseph’s 4, MMA 2
At Standish, Jessica Needham scored off a Mikayla Call cross at 67:00 to break the 2-2 tie and lead Saint Joseph’s College to victory over Maine Maritime Academy of Castine Sunday.
Katie Jordan added an insurance goal off a Call assist at 77:58 for the 5-4 Monks. Whitney Linindoll and Lauren Hagerman scored unassisted first-half goals. Katye Mayo did not make a save on two shots.
Emily Brogden and Kelsi Eiane scored unassisted goals for 4-6-2 Maine Maritime. Lacey Jackson saved eight of 14 shots.
Men’s soccer
Saint Joseph’s 4, Emmanuel 1
At Standish, Michael Sanfilippo, Paul Robins, Doug MacCallum and Brandon Noltkamper each scored a goal to lead Saint Joseph’s by Emmanuel College.
Andre Cushing had two assists while Lane Hubacz and MacCallum each had one for Saint Joseph’s. Will Pike made one save on six shots for the 5-3-1 Monks.
Carlos Perez stopped five of 16 shots for 3-6-1 Emmanuel.
MMA 0, Saint Joseph’s 0 (2OT)
At Standish Sunday, Maine Maritime Academy’s Jeff Butland and Saint Joseph’s College’s Will Pike didn’t allow a goal through regulation and two overtimes.
Butland turned away seven of 12 shots for 4-5-1 Maine Maritime.
Pike saved two of four shots for the 5-3-3 Monks.
NMCC 3, Unity 1
At Presque Isle, Dustin Graham scored a goal and assisted the others as Northern Maine Community College beat Unity College Sunday.
Justin Lyshon and Michael Libby scored for 3-4 NMCC. Sam Petrie saved two of nine shots.
Tim Stephenson scored a goal for 2-5-1 Unity. Ian Shalit turned away five of 23 shots.
USM 2, Plymouth State 0
At Plymouth, N.H., Saturday, Greg Cox scored one goal and assisted on the other to lead the University of Southern Maine Huskies past Plymouth State College.
For the 8-3-1 Huskies of Gorham, Peter McHugh of Portland scored the other goal. David Kreps saved five of nine shots.
For the 4-6 Panthers, Tyler Shute made two saves on six shots.
UM-Machias 4, Paul Smith’s 1
At Machias Saturday, Greg Dawson scored two goals to lead the University of Maine-Machias Clippers past Paul Smith’s College of Paul Smith, N.Y.
Santiago Meira assisted on two goals for the 6-5 Clippers. Pat Corliss and Tom Erlenbach each scored one goal for UMM. Adam Mauro made five saves on eight shots.
Andrew Sorci scored the lone goal for Paul Smith. Beau Marshal made seven saves on 30 shots.
UMFK wins two
The University of Maine-Fort Kent won a pair of games in Vermont this weekend, knocking off the College of Saint Joseph 7-0 in Rutland Saturday and blanking Vermont Technical College 8-0 in Randolph Sunday.
On Sunday, the UMFK Bengals earned their 10th straight win as Keith Williams II scored three goals.
Jarryd Phillips scored one goal and assisted on two others for the 10-0 Bengals, ranked 10th nationally among NAIA programs. Andre Anderson and Andrew Gervais each had a goal and an assist. Emlyn Jacoby and Jermaine West had the other goals.
Giovanni Sinclair notched the shutout with one save on the only shot he faced.
Will Chadwick saved 26 of 34 for 4-4 Vermont Tech.
On Saturday, Luka Odak and West each scored two goals and had one assist to lead the Bengals.
Dwayne Smith had a goal and two assists for UMFK, Williams, Phillips, and Walford Stewart each had one goal. Sinclair faced no shots.
Jason Stone made 21 saves on 28 shots for the 1-7 Fighting Saints.
Thomas 3, So. Maine CC 1
At Waterville Sunday, Andrew Pelletier scored two unassisted goals to help the Thomas Terriers get by Southern Maine Community College.
Jonathan Klippert scored a goal for the Terriers, who got one save out of goalie James Gorneau.
Matt Richio made seven saves for SMCC.

Colgate 2, Maine 1
At Hamilton, N.Y. on Sunday, Laura Denenga scored an unassisted goal at 31:47 to break the 1-1 tie and lead Colgate University past the University of Maine Sunday.
Lauren Carey scored on assists from Mika Ella-Tang and Maddie Watrobski at 29:02 for 8-4 Colgate. Sarah Pedersen saved six of 15 shots.
Maire Dineen scored at 30:58 for the 3-7 Black Bears. Nicole Emery and Mallory Anderson provided assists. Brittany Fleck turned away eight of 15 shots.
Albany 3, Maine 1
At Albany on Saturday, Ashley Carr, Sarah Deane and Michelle Simpson each scored an unassisted goal to lead Albany past Maine.
Ashley Ross made six saves on nine shots for 6-7 Albany.
Brittney Cummings scored for Maine on an assist from Maire Dineen. Brittany Fleck stopped eight of 24 shots for the 3-6 Black Bears.
UMF 2, St. Joseph’s 0
At Farmington, Andrea Tyler tallied both goals for the University of Maine-Farmington as the Beavers topped Saint Joseph’s College.
Ashley Weeks grabbed an assist while Meaghan Johnson made 15 saves on 21 shots for the 6-4 Beavers.
Kaeleigh Barker stopped eight of 12 shots for 5-2 Saint Joseph’s.
Castleton State 3, Husson 1
At Bangor, Carolyn Griggs scored a pair of goals to lead Castleton State past Husson University.
Trisha Clark made three saves on four shots for 7-4 Castleton.
Erica Dorso netted the goal for Husson. Kara Voisine stopped 14 of 17 shots for the 1-6 Eagles.
USM 4, Westfield State 3
At Gorham, Alyssa Kraus notched two goals including the game-winning goal in the 66th minute to lift the University of Southern Maine past Westfield State College.
Caitlin Albert and Christine Hill each added a goal for the Huskies. Allison Hill made 15 saves on 23 shots.
Amanda McCarthy stopped seven of 15 shots for 4-4 Westfield State.
Saint Joseph’s 4, Castleton 2
At Standish, Saint Joseph’s College scored four unanswered goals as the Monks defeated Castleton State College Sunday.
Gina Gaetani had two second-half goals for 6-2 Saint Joseph’s. Kayla Nowell had a goal and two assists and Amanda Sebastiao added a goal. Julia Ostrowski provided two assists. Meaghan Johnson saved five of 11 shots.
Kayla Blank and Carolyn Griggs scored first-half goals for 7-5 Castleton State. Trishia Fellows assisted Griggs’ goal. Trisha Clark made nine saves on 14 shots.
