BANGOR – Congregation Beth Israel will observe Yom Kippur with its newly appointed religious leader, Rabbi Steven Schwarzman, along with cantor Max Furmansky from Israel. Services include Mincha at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, with Kol Nidre at 5:30 p.m. Shacharit will begin at 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, with children’s services at 10 a.m. Mincha-Ne’ila will begin at 3:45 p.m.
