SALEM, Mass. – India Lowe scored off a Sharaya Linscott assist at with 3:50 remaining to break a tie and lead the University of Southern Maine to a 2-1 field hockey victory over Salem State on Tuesday.
Melissa Rivet scored at 28:00 with an assist from Alyssa Kraus for the 6-4 Huskies. Allison Hill stopped five of eight shots.
April Rossetti had an unassisted goal at 46:00 for 5-5 Salem State. Jessica McKenna made no saves on two shots.

Bates 4, Southern Maine 1
At Gorham, Julie Brown scored three goals 18 minutes apart as Bates College of Lewiston overcame a one-goal deficit to beat Southern Maine.
Sam Alper netted the other goal for the 3-5 Bobcats. Brittney French and Annie Burns combined for one save on six shots.
Caitlin Brown scored on a Shannon Martin assist for the 3-6-1 Huskies. Alison Bradley and Kat Rothe combined to make 13 saves on 25 shots.
