COLLEGE

Matt Methot

Maine Maritime Academy freshman Matt Methot was named the North Atlantic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Methot finished third of 36 runners at the UM-Farmington Invitational. He had a time of 29:46 on the 8K course.

Ben Estabrook

Husson University junior Ben Estabrook of Bangor was named the Men’s Golf Player of the Week by the North Atlantic Conference. Estabrook had score of 72 to lead Husson to victory in the Sid Farr Invitational.

Nick Waltz

University of Maine at Farmington freshman Nick Waltz was honored as the NAC Men’s Golf Rookie of the Week. Waltz shot an 81 at the USM Fall Classic.

Andrea Tyler

University of Maine at Farmington senior forward Andrea Tyler of Augusta was named the NAC Field Hockey Player of the Week. Tyler had both goals in UMF’s win over Saint Joseph’s Saturday.

Jeff Butland

Sophomore goalie Jeff Butland of Maine Maritime Academy was named the North Atlantic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week. Butland earned a 0-0 tie against Saint Joseph’s College.

Marion Kish

Husson University junior Marion Kish was named the NAC Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week. Kish had a career-high 38 assists against Maine Maritime along with 15 digs and three aces.

Lindsay Hansen

University of Maine at Farmington freshman Lindsay Hansen of Gorham was honored as the Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week by the North Atlantic Conference. Hansen had 14 kills, 28 assists, 25 digs and a block in a 3-0 week.

Mikayla Call

Saint Joseph’s College’s Mikayla Call was named the Women’s Soccer Co-Player of the Week by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. Call scored four goals and provided two assists in a 2-1 week.

Will Pike

Saint Joseph’s College junior Will Pike was honored as the GNAC Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week. Pike allowed just one goal in 265 minutes of play in a 2-0-1 week.

Ryan Prescott

Saint Joseph’s College senior Ryan Prescott was named the GNAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Prescott placed second in the Pop Crowell Invitational.
